You’ll get one amount to use as you see fit on included extras each financial year. Plus, with deluxe flexi silver plus you get a separate limit of $300 to spend just on optical. Limits apply per person, per full financial year. Sub-limits and waiting periods apply.

As you can see above, the longer you stay with us, the more you’ll benefit. Your annual flexi limit for included extras will increase after you’ve been with us for one full financial year. This means you’ll get $100 more to spend on your included extras each full financial year you stay with us, capped at $1500 in year 5. The flexi limit is calculated by using the number of full continuous financial years the Principal Member has held an eligible cover with us.
No gap dental check-ups
We’ve struck a great deal at select dentists^ to offer you up to 2 dental check-ups per financial year with no out of pocket costs (up to your annual limit).
No gap dental check-ups include:
- Periodic and comprehensive examination
- Clean and polish or scale and clean
- Fluoride treatment

Hospital
The hospital component of this package includes the minimum standard clinical categories required for a ‘silver’ rating, ‘plus’ hospital services for joint replacements, cataracts and dialysis for chronic kidney failure and more.

On this product, we pay benefits towards the services below.
We’ll pay benefits towards all agreed hospital charges in a partner private hospital in a shared or private room. In a public hospital we’ll pay all accommodation charges for a shared room and benefits towards a private room. You may still incur out-of-pocket costs as a result of a medical gap for your doctors’ fees.
What’s restricted
On this product, we pay restricted benefits towards the services below.
We’ll pay all accommodation charges for a shared room in a public hospital. We’ll only pay limited benefits towards your stay at a private hospital or in a private room in a public hospital. You will incur significant out of pocket expenses if you are treated at a private hospital or stay in a private room at a public hospital.
What’s excluded
On this product, we don’t pay benefits towards the services below.
Hospital Excess
An excess is an upfront lump sum payment that you agree to pay towards the cost of your hospital stay or day surgery. You can reduce your health insurance premium by opting for a $750 hospital excess per person (up to a maximum of $1500 per couple/family per membership year).
