Can I choose my excess?

Accepted Answer

You can choose an excess from $250 to $1,000. The excess you select is stated in your Certificate of Insurance.
We’re flexible and have a range of excess options. If you opt for a higher excess your regular payments (known as premiums) will be lower. However, make sure you choose an excess you can afford to pay if you need to make a claim.

I’m going on a holiday. What do I need to do?

Make sure you let us know. If your building is going to be unoccupied for more than 100 days, we may be unable to provide cover during that time or there may be conditions for the property being unoccupied.

Am I covered for floods?

Accepted Answer

Whether you choose Home or Contents Insurance, we’ve got you covered for floods. The higher of your chosen basic excess or a fixed excess of $500 will apply to each flood event.

I’m renting a room in a shared house. Can I use this policy?

Accepted Answer

You sure can, as long as there aren't more than 3 unrelated people living in the house. If your housemates want cover for their contents too, they'll need their own policy.
